Gene Dolls

The Gene Doll was created by the very talented Mel Odom in 1991, when he first drew a face. He was already an illustrator so drawing a face was not unusual for Mel.

As a Doll Collector himself, he saw a hole in the market and this spurred him on to create Gene Marshall.

Her success story followed, and even though Mel is no longer creating the Dolls, they are still very sought after dolls on the vintage market.
